Abdulhay Sayed is the managing partner. He is a graduate of the universities of Damascus, Geneva, and Harvard. Dr. Sayed is a member of the Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), the ICC Commission on Arbitration and ADR, the International Council on Commercial Arbitration (ICCA), the Board of Reporters of the Institute of Transnational Arbitration (ITA), the French Arbitration Association (AFA), the French Arbitration Committee (Paris), the Institute of International Arbitration (IAI) (Paris) and the Swiss Arbitration Association (ASA). He acts as arbitrator, legal counsel and legal expert appearing before arbitral tribunals and domestic courts on a variety of international, investment, and commercial law matters involving many Middle Eastern legal jurisdictions. Dr. Sayed has a number of scholarly contributions to international arbitration. Between 2005 and 2011 he taught international arbitration at the Faculty of Law of the University of Damascus, in cooperation with Université Paris II Panthéon-Assas. Dr. Sayed has been a visiting professor at the MIDS Program of the Center for International Dispute Settlement – at the University of Geneva (2021-2022).
